Revolt is a “TELL IT LIKE IT IS” emcee that takes his cues from the political and culturally relevant hip hop of the 1980’s. His songs are the inspired progeny of the lyrical masterworks of Grandmaster Melle Mel, KRS-One, Queen Latifah, Public Enemy, Kool Moe Dee, The Coup, and Jean Grae.
Through the art of hip hop he strives to continue from the foundations laid by its pioneers, drawing strength from the Stop the Violence Movement and H.E.A.L. movement of the 1980’s.
He sings his own hooks and writes biting rhymes of clarity, always emphasizing the everyday beauty and madness of a world corrupted by the 1%. A world dying and screaming to be heard, swelling with suppressed love and compassion, and seething with … REVOLT!
